Next is one of their famous dish that everybody would try on their first visit.. TA-DAAA !!!
The Wolf's Favourite Pasta !!!! It is cooked with smoke pork bacon, and button mushroom, topped with poached egg and crispy beef bacon bits. A best way to eat this is to stir all together, egg yolk drizzling on top of the pasta, mix it well and you will fall in love with it immediately !!

Next, here comes Salmon Avocado in the house !! Cooked with smooth creamery sauce, topped with salmon roe and dill. Nice and creamy, but taste is much lighter compared to the pasta above.

Since the wolf is still hungry, he decided to come up with Mighty Piggy Burger which is one of the best recommendation by the chef for dinner. It is quite a huge burger filled with juicy pork patty, fried egg, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, herb mayo and served with chips and salads. Take a big bite for this and you will definitely move on again for more bites !!

Mighty Piggy Burger - RM28.00

It took me a long time to find "pork ribs" in the menu, and later, I was told by a waiter that this pork ribs has a nice name *The One That Didn't Get Away* (Little pigs has nice name to be eaten by big bad wolf). Hahahaha~~~~
Anyway, this special pork ribs is quite popular in this restaurant. Almost every table has a plate on it for share. It is seasoned in St. Louis style sauce and grilled til tender, topped with 3 huge onion rings and served with big chips and salads.

Creamy & cheesy, filled with raisins in the inner part, with the taste of strong rum will makes you feel very much delightful !!

Located at USJ Subang Jaya, it is very much recommended to enjoy eating Dim Sum here as the restaurant are serving good quality food with reasonable price. It is not easy to find as it was located inside among rows of restaurants and other shops. However, if you do know where is Main Place Residence & Mall (the one before USJ City Mall along the highway), it will be easy to find this restaurant because it is situated adjacent to Main Place Residence & Mall.

Central Mid-levels Escalator --- Lan Fong Yuen 蘭芳園 @ Central, Hong Kong

Taken from Wikipedia
If you wanted to walk on a bridge from Sheung Wan to Central Mid-levels Escalators, you could use this map as a guide. Approximately 15mins walk with nice view around, tall buildings, Ding-ding bus and many more.  It is easy and safe walking on bridge where many CCTV is above your head and security guards stand on duty in every single building you passed by.

The escalator runs from Queen’s Road Central (皇后大道) to Conduit Road in Mid-Levels. It is a very long escalator which will divide its way for people to go on to the other road, depending on which road you want to go to. Take note of the time for the escalator going uphill and downhill direction.

Uphill direction:       Central - Mid-Levels 10am to midnight daily
Downhill direction:   Mid-Levels - Central 6am to 10am daily

Lan Fong Yuen 蘭芳園, is an old cafe since 1950s located between Central and Mid Level on Gage Street (結志街). Among most of the reviews from Trip Advisor, many tourists strongly recommend to drop by here for its famous "Milk Tea" (HKD$18 per cup) which is very popular in Hong Kong. Since it's only for takeaways, you can see many people queue by the road side, and some others will take a hot/cold plastic cup drinking by the side of the narrow road.

Such narrow road with busy shopsss

After having tea at Lan Fong Yuen 蘭芳園, or you could even save your milk tea for egg tarts by walking a few distance ahead, dropping by at Tai Cheong Bakery Egg Tart 泰昌餅家(next post in my blogs).

Tai Cheong Bakery Egg Tart 泰昌餅家 @ Central District

If you are a fan of an egg tart, besides Macau Portuguese's Margaret Egg Tart and Lord Stow Bakery's Egg Tart, it is a must try at Tai Cheong Bakery Egg Tart located at Central Hong Kong. Usually, tourists hardly missed the chance to go there because the outer crust and the inner shinning golden surface has a different taste compared to the Macau Portuguese Egg Tart.

It is a stone's throw away from Lan Fong Yuen (蘭芳園), which is famous for milk tea. Alright.. let's get back to Tai Cheong Bakery Egg Tart ≧°◡°≦
The shop is not so big, always packed with people no matter tourists or local people with long queue along the corridor. Sadly, I did not get a chance to take photos of those packed foods inside.

However, I am soooooo super lucky on that day because I managed to bought egg tarts fresh, which was just taken out from the hot oven !!!! ≧❂◡❂≦

TA-DAA ~~~ Just in time for teatime with hot golden shinny surface, buttery and soft in the inner part; and crunchy in the outer part. ☜(*▽*)☞

Price: HK$5 per egg tart

Dim Sum @ Tao Heung Mongkok, Hong Kong 稻香超級漁港 (旺角分店)

If you are a Hong Kong Dim Sum lover, it is strongly recommended for you to give it a try at Tao Heung (稻香超級漁港) which is "one of the top 10 of must try food" at Hong Kong.  ≧◠◡◠≦
It is a restaurant that have varieties of  Dim Sum in the morning and marvelous steamboat for dinner.
There are many branches in every part of Hong Kong which you can find at this website
http://www.taoheung.com.hk/tc/home/index.html

The restaurant that I tried is located in Mongkok, Nathan street, right beside Nathan Hotel, where you need to take an elevator up to the 3rd floor. To avoid waiting for seats, I planned to go there at 7.30am, unfortunately at that time, it was already packed with many people, especially with those middle-aged men and women who eat dim sum, and at the same time reading newspapers (Heard that it was their trend like this). In addition, sharing table is an obvious thing to do in Hong Kong if there are lots of customers.

Once you're seated, they will serve you a kettle of chinese tea and cups, and menu as well with price listed on it (self-written for ordering the food).

Tao Heung maintained the traditional ways to serve customers by pushing the trolley out filled with the food that you've ordered on it.. interesting aye ? ≧✯◡✯≦

Alright..  dim sum in the house.... TA-DAAA !!!!  ≧❂◡❂≦

The top dish is a dessert of the day, sweet mangoes with coconut stripes on top, where else the bottom ones are made of white carrot, soft and juicy in the inner part and crispy at the outer part. Be careful when you take a bite, because the extremely hot juicy white carrot might just burn your tongue anytime !!

On the left, the outer part was made of dried tofu skin with prawns fillings in it. Crispy and tasteful when you dip into the soya sauce next to it.

In the menu, the dish at the top consists of dumplings with soup cook with Chinese herbs for hours. That is why the soup has a sense of thick herbal taste when you sip it. On the left, it's name is "Siew Mai" with its juicy prawns above the meatloaf. On the right, this "pork meatball" is really quite a special dish. Filled with only meat and some corns, this dish will grant you a way to paradise right on your first bite!

Ah~ As most of you guys would have guessed it right, this is a polo bun! Doing it's duty as usual for tourists to Hong Kong and even locals, this polo bun plays such an important role in making you crave for it more after every bite adding to the fact of its tantalizing aroma. This mouth-watering bun is of course predominantly popular in Hong Kong and Macau, though they are not uncommon in Chinatowns worldwide. The top of the bun is made of a dough similar to that used to make sugar cookies, which consists of sugar, eggs, and flour. It is crunchy and is quite sweet compared to the bread underneath. The bread dough underneath is the same used in Chinese style Western breads, which is a softer and sweeter dough compared to Western breads. It is popular with breakfast or afternoon tea. A must try!

*Warning to those who cannot eat pork! Some polo buns may have lard!

There's variety of dishes here for you to see. Those pictures on top are the ones here in the menu together with the price. ENJOY !!    〷◠‿◠〷
